DESCRIPTION:Global Big Day in Everglades National Park\nMay 5th at 8:00am \nMeet Ranger Bob Showler to look for birds at various points of interest along the Main Park Road of Everglades National Park\, between the Royal Palm Visitor Center and Flamingo.  Be prepared to drive your own car about 100 miles round-trip (no fuel available in the park) and bring water\, sun protection\, insect protection\, lunch\, and binoculars (if you have them; loaner binoculars also available).  Meet at the Royal Palm Visitor Center\, about two miles past the Main Entrance to Everglades National Park\, at 8:00 a.m.; program will last about six hours.
