75th WMA Anniversary – Babcock Webb WMA

There will be a variety of exciting hands-on activities for families to enjoy, all at no charge. There will be a kids’ fishing clinic, Kayak 101, K9 demonstrations, kids’ nature activities tent, exciting nature-based displays, shooting activities, food trucks and much more. Biologists will also offer hayride tours sharing how they manage natural resources and habitat for wildlife.

This kick-off celebration at Florida’s first Wildlife Management Area (established in 1941), is the first in a year-long schedule of activities around the state. Visit the 75th WMA Anniversary website for more information (link below).
