Hernando Audubon Birding Trip to Big Pine. Saturday, Sept. 24 at 8 a.m. meet in the parking lot of the Big Pine Tract of Chinsegut Wildlife and Environmental Area, 12060 Old Crystal River Road, north of Brooksville. We will walk about 2 miles on a trail through longleaf pine habitat that leads to a wetland. Expect to see many woodpeckers and some songbirds.
